As the Cassadine Family Gatekeeper, Alexis' view of the Cassadines as not only a family but a structure, i.e., "The Cassadine Compound," speaks volumes. It's a way of being, a doctrine, a state of mind, and a physical place which encompasses their Russian homeland and heritage, their private Greek Isle and its culture, and Spoon Island in Port Charles which is home to Wyndemere, complete with an interesting history of its own.
